Title reveal! Woooooo!

Hey team, remember when I revealed this? You probably don't. It was ages ago, and the Internet has the attention span of methed-out lemmings. So I have another book coming out in the fall and I'm really excited about it. My wonderful cover art team have shown us some preliminary art to let us know what direction they're going in and I am thrilled. I can't reveal that yet, but I can finally give you a title. Ready? Someone out there want to do that thing where you do a drum roll by slapping the tops of your legs? (Am I the only one who does that?) Okay, I already feel like I've over-hyped this and you'll be dissapointed. If I knew anything about inserting gifs, I'd put one in here, just to take some of the pressure off, but I'm basically a luddite. I'm only a half-step from doing cave paintings for you guys. I keep meaning to learn how to do things, but then I get distracted...like I did just now.

The new book is called "Firebug." I know many of you were hoping for a title in similar style to my other two, and I tried to do something like that, but it just didn't fit this book as well. It's following different characters and it's shaped differently, and it needed it's own style of title. I hope you like it. Here is a little snippet to tide you over.

“I can be ready in five,” I said.

He wiped what was left of the suds I’d forgotten off my nose. “No, you’ll eat some breakfast, finish your coffee, and I’ll see you in an hour."

“Besides,” Duncan added, “evicting Ezra in under five minutes is hardly humane.”

Ezra groaned. “I can’t imagine how anything this morning could get less humane. It’s so bright in here. Why do you people need so much light? It’s freakish and unnatural.”

“That’s the sun, Ezra.” Lock said, taking a sip of his coffee. “I’m told it comes up every morning.”

“Well, it’s trying to kill me. Someone do something.”

That's all you get for now. *steeples fingers* *laughs maniacaly*
